In January, myself and my boyfriend headed northwest for a few days. We got lucky with some nice offshore 3-4ft surf some days, mainly Easkey and Lisadelle, but unlucky in that the first of many Atlantic storms to hit our coast this winter was brewing towards the end of the trip and the swells got a bit too wild. I met up with my brother, who brought me to a good spot where we had a great surf almost to ourselves.
